Excellant! This is better than the X factor.

I do love the audition stage of these programmes Laughing

And I'll provide the completly opposite view.

It's awful - the judges are pathetic, while the three stage audition process is far too dragged out - why let them dance/act when they obviously can't sing!

And I hate the audition process of these shows - far too much airtime given to the bad!

Typical "oh yeah, the viewers will know him from I'm a Celebrity.." approach.

Arrghh!

In my opinion Grease has been done to death in this country now thanks to constant repeats of the movie on ITV.

I think the idea itself has potential - Grease has a much broader mass appeal than The Sound of Music or Joseph - but in addition to what I said earlier, I also think we're all pretty sick of the audition formats of these shows.

I'm not sure how they could make the auditions feel different - but whatever the show, the audition episodes have all been virtually the same since 2001.

It's the audition process that makes these programmes for me. You can' t beat watching the deluded. Once it gets to the bootcamp stage i get bored.

I don't really have a fascination with Grease (as im not into movies) but it was fun to watch the auditions ect. I can't seen myself sticking with though.
