Grange Hill

I have recently developed a nostalgic interest and have been watching 1990s Grange Hill on Youtube. Who were the children that appeared in the title sequences from 1990 onwards? Were they actors from the programme?

"Cue big sausage and surprised faces".

Bridget the Midget used to terrify me. Not sure why. But she did. As did Bullet Baxter.

I mean the ones from the 1990 onwards where they dropped the cartoon titles and started using real people/school scenes

Baxter was just like my PE teacher at the time !

Even now when I'm on a Central Line tube, and the PA says, 'This service terminates at Grange Hill' those iconic bars from the theme tune fill my head.

Yeah, don't anyone Google that without putting "Grange Hill" in the search.

I'm glad i'm not the only one.

Most likely to be extras, though its equally plausible to be some of the cast of the time overlaid with various filters to make them look generic enough. Anybody can look like anybody else from far enough away.

I may have made this up but I'm pretty sure Laura Sadler features in the 1994 titles, prior to being cast as a main character.
