Are my eyes deceiving me, or has the Granada group dropped its 'new' generic 'Granada' typestyle (the one with the three 'inverted Vs' where the As should be)in favour of the old-style 'GRANADA' typeface on its endcaps?. I realise it's difficult to tell without a good freeze-frame video and/or magnifying glass.
Has anyone else noticed this, or are Dave's eyes indeed decieving him?
Well, at the end of "Police!" the other night it was written with the bar-less As in it, in the normal way. I'll keep a look out when I'm watching telly this evening. If I watch ITV, that is.
It would be exciting to think a change is on the way - by the way the company I work for (WS Atkins) also, coincidentally, have an / at the start of /TKINS. They also use lilacs and purple colours.
It's getting to the stage where you can identify a design company more readily from their clients' logos than you can about the clients themselves.
i.e. Anything will Gill Sans in it - Lambie Nairn. Upturned V > / - Precision Design.
