Granada and Tyne Tees versions of the new GMG prod

Curiously though, it didn't have the Granada logo at the bottom, thankfully it was the new TTTV logo though

A Tyne Tees copyright message took the place of the GR/N/D/. Wonder why that was?

My TV Card is playing up so no screencap just now. Maybe tomorrow

I do think though that it is ridiculous that no less than 3 stations have let this one out ahead on the supposed December release date. What are GMG on these days?

im impressed - better than the anglia granada cap after the wright stuff, and it fits in well with the stupid channel 4 'next caption', lets hope granada adopt this style

Erm, Granada has adopted this style! Yorkshire, Tyne Tees and Granada now use this endcap style, with Granada only using it at the end of Granada Reports for the moment.

This is very, very nice. The Yorkshire variant is simply not as nice, and I haven't yet seen the Granada variant, but the image is spot-on.

If a career could be made ou of just one image, then this is it! Well done Tyne Tees!

What I wonder is, have all the GMG stations got a full-screen version of the endcap. Both ITV and C4 seem to avoid the need for them, by cutting a third of the screen off, but what happens if ITV(not likely)/C4 they change their minds about this in the future!

P.s - What do you mean 'iffy-quality'. I think its a very-good quality pci. If thats iffy, then the top quality capture must look better than the studio master version!!(Okay thats not possible, but never mind!)

The Granada one, used at the end of Granada Reports, was certainly full screen as GR doesn't use generic credits. I do like that TTTV one, it looks really good and I don't think they would mind if that did replace their current look!

I wonder if there'll be some nice new 'coming up' slides and regional trailer endboards? Well, any 'coming up' slide would be a nice change I suppose.

I guess that vidcap is OK after all. I wasn't happy with it though. I had to do a bit of tweaking with Adobe Photoshop to bring the sharpness up and decrease the colour saturation to something resembling normality. But I guess it didn't turn out too bad, maybe I'll use a better tape than a 75p Bush one next time

It is also very reminiscent of Tyne Tees' 40th Birthday presentation, with the use of pink and the faded logo's in the background...

Yes I have this as well on TiVo. Will grab tomorrow evening, along with the Granada one for all to see
