Ok, I like the set, but that's about all I like. The new titles, graphics and music, whilst being a remix of the old ones are quite quite horrible and although the old ones could have done with an update, the way they have done it is nasty. Let's hope it doesn't last long!

Well it is here at last and I like it.

I like the new desk actually, too, it looks good and the blue background looks good.

I think the Studio looks warm, so in a few weeks when we get the Cold Weather, it will be nice to see the Blue & Orange. The Caption Is "Come Home To Granada Reports".

I could just do with some new pictured to update my Website on Granada Reports, if anyone can help, I would be grateful.

Anyway, having seen it, I honestly can't see what the objections are all about.

Ok, so the colour scheme is dragged out of the 1970s, but it's actually used quite effectively. The studio is far and away the best they've ever produced, and the complaints about the music are, I think, going a little far. It may not be Mozart, but I've heard worse.

What matters is the news coverage, which was always a bit iffy. Didn't seem to be drastic changes on that level, but it looked a lot more professional at least. North West Tonight remains too Manchester centric.

Yeah they did a new think where they went around all of the region and it had Liverpool, Wirral etc at the top when Lucy was talking about that story. Also nice to see Tony at the end i think he will be good on the show.

I can only comment on the pics posted, but it looks vile. Too bold in colour. The previous look was much better.

I too can only see it from the images here, but it looks kind of nice. It seems as if solid blocks of vivid colour are the fashion at the moment, firstly Calendar now Granada Reports.

The desk looks interesting, and the screen behind the presenter is put to good use. But it just looks a bit pokey, is there room for anybody else behind that desk ? Do they only present bulletins with a single anchor, or are they doing a Calendar and sending the other one out on location. I'm disappointed with the music though, it's not nearly as grand as it sounded previously.

Overall, not bad, but I'm sure these grabs don't really do it justice.

I do like the new look. Lovely to see Rachel back in the CSO. That Boring Phil or whatever he’s called (Sorry mental black...his name will come to me in a mo) still looks poor as ever. Anyway back to Granada Reports, well Firstly don’t like the start, loads of ads, then Lucy with the Headline.....Come on Granada, an Ident.....a Small Granada Reports sting.....something just to break up the ads and all that rubbish and Lucy at the start. Anyway, moving on....wonder why No Dog??? I'm not exactly support 'For the Dog' campaign but come on Granada, at least be bothered to do one.....Typical, they always just do the bare minimum to get by.

To the positives........I did like the still to come bit. That was nice. Shame no Tony and studio on the first day. I will be nice to see who sits where tomorrow. Also nice to have Lovely Bill corrie there. Also like the start and end with the full studio shot, where we see the cameras etc. Lovely!!

All in all, not bad. The music is ok. No keen on the Granada arrow. It’s a bit thin. Put some meat on it please Granada.

I look forward to my First CSO bulletin tonight as I have only seen the forums pics so far, and Looking forward to Tony tomorrow at 6!!

BTW, When will the sky EPG change? It still says Tony Wilson.

Are the contents of the screen at the back being CSOed in? I noticed that the 'reflection' on the desk actually wasn't - it was actually a part of the pic the same way up.

I quite like the colour scheme and the look (although the titles do look a bit cheap) - I think things will probably pull together a bit better once Tony Morris starts tomorrow evening.

Why didn't Tony start today?

Does anyone think it bears more than a passing resemblance to the current ITV News studio? It seems as if they've tried to mimic it in a way with the colour scheme and parts of the set, and according to rumours that set isn't much longer for this world...
