It did strike me as strange, wonder why they didn't put up a purple style 'Heartbeat' endcap with the LWT logo on it, with 'A Granada Production' underneath.
BTW, I have to say that Night and Day seemed to be a very stylish production to me. Great camera work, incidental music, flashbacks, looked good on screen and a theme tune by Kylie Minogue.
It's meant to be a cross between Twin Peaks and Ally McBeal, it's certainly a departure from any other soap I've seen recently. I suggest you check it out.

Not a patch on Crossroads ? Don't make me laugh, Crossroads was an embarassment after Night & Day. Crossroads production is way inferior.

A Granada production for LWT?
So Granada produced it for another Granada Media company that presented it to the network. You just gotta love ITV politics. They should make a soaps out of it...
(BTW I've seen LWT production on a Wednesday before - it was some Crimewatch ripoff IIRC).

wasnt this soap the one commisioned by itv from united news and media - around the same time as crossroads was announced
im presuming granada media has swallowed the United production facilities in london since the merger ... could that be why its a granada production for an lwt presentation to the network
