T'was watching countdown yesterday with the new Deso and noticed the endcap 'Granada Yorkshire MMVII' with the purple 'G' (i then recalled a few years back seeing the chevron, alas no longer). Anyway i was wondering what other programmes feature this logo at the end since the transition from Grannada productions to itv productions? And do you think it will become 'itv productions for...' soon?

Granada is the brand used by ITV Productions for the programmes it makes for other broadcasters - eg Countdown for C4 and What the Papers Say and University Challenge for the BBC.

I think they also use the Granada name abroad as well.

I wonder how much longer we will get a Granada Television Production as the copyright on programmes like Corrie, before it changes to ITV Productions permanently.

I think Soapstar Superstar said "Copyright ITV Productions 2007". Considering that it was made by Granada, I don't think it looks too hopeful that Corrie will continue to use Granada's copyright.

Might not be the same as in the UK, but it's a big purple 'G' with 'Granada' in it, with 'International' below it.
