The last post is a good question and one I can`t answer! BTW did anyone who lives in the YTV region notice today (Saturday) that before the two Calendar news bullitins the static hearts ident was used albeit with a regional announcement instead of the regional ident. Has this ident been put to sleep maybe we will see what happens today at 2pm

This is indeed unique to Border the announcers on this menu are Border ones from Carlisle (news readers do it I believe) not Leeds ones. Its just one of several little differences Border have from the other GMG North stations which in my opinion makes Border perhaps the most independant of the four Leeds controlled franchises.

whats to stop tyne tees doing something similar? - certainly wouldnt cost much, im presuming most of the required equiptment would still be there?, ie, if border have the means to do it, and permission, why hasnt tttv

I don't know, but to be honest TTTV has looked like Yorkshire Mk2 since 1995.

Just thought I might bring this to your attention....

On Thursday night, Carlton owned regions showed the 'Night and Day' omnibus at 11pm.

But regions owned by Granada , showed it at 12midnight, to make way for at least 30 minutes of Regional Programming

So Granada got regional programming, and Carlton owned regions didn't (they got American imports at 12midnight).

The same situation takes place next Thursday as well

Think about this, next time you say that Granada are in support of scrapping regional programminghttp://web.ukonline.co.uk/tv.home/forum/emoticons/biggrin.gif
