Independent Sport Network was linked to LNN I believe, as the LNN website contained info on ISN, as LNN also has the ITV Sport Archive.

Even though TV's Naughtiest Blunders 19? was a Carlton Production (according to the end credits anyway) it still had a new style Granada Production caption on the end? WHY?

Because technically speaking now there is no Carlton production after the merger. Since the merger they have had their own productions, but from yesturday (mon november 1st), all programmes made by any of the ITV regions will be a Granada Production. I personally think it would be easier to have ITV productions, as that is now the company, but they've gone for Granada.

All productions have Granada captions now, remember? Carlton doesn't exist anymore.

So it looks like Anglia productions are being credited "Granada Anglia", LWT productions "Granada London", YTV productions are being credited "Granada Yorkshire" and Granada Televison Productions either "Granada Manchester" or just Granada (if filmed away from Manchester like This Morning) and everything else (Carlton-London, Carlton-Central etc) is credited "A Granada Production".

Well, Granada is an internationally recognised programme maker, exporting many productions around the world. So, better to label programmes as Granada productions and maintain this repuation than stick an ITV Production endcap on which means very little.
Also, Granada make programmes for other broadcasters as well. Can't imagine an ITV Production for BBC appearing on screen somehow, can you ?

I've always thought it odd that, whilst the programmes within CiTV obviously can/do have production captions, that C(hildren's) ITV (or indeed, "Watch It!") itself has never (AFAIK) had one.
The strand is produced by someone (namely ATV/Central/Carlton Central/ITV Central/whatever), so why has this never been acknowledged with an on-screen production caption?

Shame CITV doesn't have an endcap else you'd get a Granada Birmingham caption!

Sounds a bit messy, doesn't it?
In the light of names like "Granada London", surely something like "Granada North West" would fit in better?
Or alternatively, if it's gonna be "Granada Manchester", then the others should surely be "Granada Leeds" etc?
But, for everything else to be "G... Anglia", "G... Yorkshire" etc, whilst NW is "G... Manchester" is inconsistent .
Obviously, ITVplc (or should I say, "GMG" - because the supposed 30% Carlton Communications presence obviously counts for sh*t) are physically and mentally incapable of being logical/consistent.
And why the generic phrase "G... Production" for the ex-Carltons? Surely they should be, say, "G... Westcountry" and "G... Central" or something???
If there's one thing I hate, it's inconsistency !!!!
