Over on digitalspy, someone said:

"Apparently all this week, Grampian Television have been opening at 9.25 with an old fashioned start up routine and some transmitter details. Every morning they have been late joining Trisha.
It may be worth taking a look tomorrow morning to see what happens."

Anyone seen it? Any screen grabs?

Seems unlikely, but I'd be interested to know more if it's true.

It'll be nothing IBA style I'm afraid, all I am guessing is that it is a still caption with 'Transmitter Information' on it, probably because a main Transmitter will be off air or liable to interruption, so hence why they inform their viewers at 9.25am. I think there is a capture of an old one on some Grampian pres site, though I can't remember the address.

There was a Thursday night last year when Granada's main Transmitter had to be switched off, so they that night didn't show any idents and replaced them with stills of 'Transmitter Information' and the announcer saying that the Transmitter will be off air and some services will be affaected. Though when this has happened during the Daytime before they usually mention it during the Regional News.

They were not late in joining Trisha on Tuesday. I thought the startup was very slick.Transmitter information followed by ident and "Good Morning your watching Grampian TV, now it is time for Trisha". It is NOT an old style startup.
The slide in question can be seen at www.thegrampiantelevisionstudios.com under the drop down menu Miscellaneous Presentations (third transmitter slide). They will be on air for a few weeks.
