Just watching the Great Big Bid and they meantion that Graham Norton was going to be presenting the Generation Game, albeit a celebrity version for Christmas. I didn't realise that Graham Norton was taking over, last time I heard Paul O'Grady had turned it down.

So is the Generation Game likely to be returning after Christmas?

Paul O'Grady didn't turn it down. He filmed a pilot which never made it to air.

They filmed a pilot with Grady, but he hated it, so it was scrapped.

It'll be good to have it back, anyway. Saturdays haven't been the same without it.

Graham Norton...

If only I knew that mincing around, looking at porn sites and prank calling people could lead to so much BBC money, I'd have done it myself years ago.

Does anyone know where I can get myself some skin-tight leather trousers from? I think I'll launch myself as the Welsh-version of Graham Norton.

I think being camp and effected when you aren't actually gay would simply make you the Welsh Duncan Norvelle.

I think that probably *wouldn't* pack 'em in the aisles.

It's really not a compliment. I'd be concerned if I were you.

Holy smokes.

You should probably ask her next time (which I predict will be when you start mincing in tight trousers, as discussed).

Duncan Norville, bloody hell CHASE ME! CHASE ME! How un PC was he LOL!

Back to the Gen Game, I read in Broadcast a few weeks ago that this is a one off, for now. Think it has a stupid title like Generation Fame Game! I for one would love to see it back (the non-celeb version that is)and I think Graham will make a perfect host although Paul O'Grady who have been much better!

I wonder if Graham will have a female co-host to do the scores. Natasha Kaplinsky maybe?

God help us, surely she's far too busy trying to look important on the Six O'clock news!

I think the perfect host of Graham has to be Betty! Laughing

Six o'Clock News?

I think this thread has gone far enough off topic. We might tell someone to brush up their spelling next, mightn't we.

Cool
