I have seen a couple of report that this may be happening, but nothing in stone.
It seem he could be going to 5pm slot which would still not bring to an end the 5pm battle.
Has anything been confirmed? ( say this one Mr norton is covering for Mr wright all this week on this radio 2 show, and he seems to be LOT more unheard songs)
I'm sorry, but I feel sick thinking of this idea. Ever since Norton escaped the watershed, I've found him horrendously unentertaining. Anything other than V or So, then I'm out.
I read about that too, but didn't his management deny it? And if he does leave the BBC I wonder if that means they'll get someone else to commentate on Eurovision etc?

Can't they get Peter Serafinowicz to do his Wogan impression?
If he leaves the BBC they could get Paddy O' Connell to do the Eurovision job. He's been excellent at doing the semis and I was disappointed that they didnt ask him originally.
I'm fed of Graham Norton on anything. The best thing they could do is hand him The Generation Game ( which they nearly did once - anyone remember Generation Fame? )

That would probably depend whether it was a 'golden handcuffs' contract. From an article I was reading (on Media Guardian I think) it gave the impression that this was unlikely to be the case. In which case I doubt it would affect his Eurovision commentating.
I agree. Most daytime contracts allow hosts to front prime-time shows for other networks. I think that's the deal Paul O'Grady has at C4, but he's not opted to do anything major in prime time anyway.
I'd rather Graham present a late-night chat show on Channel 4 rather than watch a 5pm - besides, most viewers wil be coming home from work so his regulars will not be able to see him anymore - despite there being 4oD etc - he will lose his appeal in this slot I reckon.
Firstly I don't think it'll happen anyway, but if it did I'd rather see him do something at 5pm as it's a case of been there done that when it comes to a late night chat show, both for him and the audience.
