Not a huge surprise I suppose.

It'll be interesting to see if there are any changes to the format of the show, or whether the BBC commissions an original new chat show to fill the void left by Graham Norton. I always found Norton's show to be a 'quirky' alternative to Jonathan Ross. If Norton is to become the BBC's flagship talk show, it would be nice to see a slightly less mainstream offering in the schedules as well.

Expect 'Live from Studio Five with Dale Winton' any day now Smile

I thought it was always made clear that it wouldn't be 'Friday Night with Graham Norton' and that Graham's format will remain (Norton is pretty good with an audience, so it makes sense).

Can't see Graham behind a desk with cue cards to be honest so I'm sure the same laid-back format will remain.
