been watching the reruns of the Goodies over Christmas and wondered where some of the OBs were done

All over the place it seems,

The Goodies and the Beanstalk has a load of Weymouth, Portland and Dorchester locations. Also, the episode 'South Africa' has location stuff shot in Swanage.

The scene where a huge Dougal chases the Goodies, was filmed at Parnham House, Beaminster Dorset.

thanks, thought it was round Dorset way, some parts looked like Bournemouth

makes a change from shooting in the big cities
