Aw, great! I loved Whittle too! It never became unfunny the way they had to wear the silly mask when they were out in the second half! And Tim Vine, funny or what?

That was the show that ITV actually did a pilot version of hosted by Julian Clary, but they turned down the full series. Was it called In the Dark ?

it was done even before that - Noel's House Party (remember those days!!) used to do it with audience people who would go in a pitch black place and try to find objects that had different monetary values.

That programme used to be good, but it got sooooooo boring - only Mr Blobby held it together!! (but now it's a different person inside for L&K)
