Just been sent a bit of a random Viewback survey about GMB.

It starts off by asking what you think about the show, features and how well things work. Then goes on to ask what you think about the studio, format and presenters, along with whether you want to see more or less of each presenter.

Then, randomly, it starts asking questions about Kelloggs breakfast cereals :S

I got that yesterday as well, but do ITV read any of the Viewback surveys?

Interesting to see the GMA desk in the penultimate picture!! Is this a pack thats actually produced?? Because I want one!! And do they sell the mugs like they do the loose women ones??

Message from Jason Ford, the graphic designer for GMB

“As it’s a new brand the guidelines are for internal use only, so I cannot release them, sorry. Currently the mugs are for in-show use only, although there are plans to make a range of ITV merchandise available to purchase later this year.”

For me, GMB is Daybreak v2 presented in a different format. The content is now so similar, I wouldn't say that it is the "newsier" show they wanted.

Yes I've been sent the survey too...the All Bran stuff was very strange. Is it me or most of it about Cereal?

The director of GMB, Erron Gordon had uploaded pictures of when he had visited Breakfast news studios from the USA (GMA & Today) back in January to get the inspiration for GMB most probably.

Also I spoke to a graphic designer from GMB and said that the logo has been created to represent a speech bubble and "the start of engaging conversations"

Isn't that what happened with Daybreak v2; it launched newsier and then it was tamed down to more lifestyle features?

A very nice behind the scenes on the road. All of those hours of travelling, compiling, planning, setting up and editing for a few minutes in the morning.

The content of most of the show may edge towards the lifestyle/fluffy side of things, but they do still have a great team of correspondents and producers for the news segments.

Could it be that some sort of sponsorship deal might be in the offing? Didn't Nestlé cereals sponsor weather or something previously?

Andi Peters just said that the Wheel of Cash is going... But then he said: for a few weeks. Sad Does this mean we will have something different in the meantime?
