Best decision they can make. Can't wait to see how she is. They can't just use her on a Friday (not even doing the main role) so they really need to see how good she is on ITV News. I think she'll be great.

Their problem is that if a big news story breaks viewers turn to the BBC.

GMB need to build their reputation that they are a programme that can be relied upon for the big news events. That will take time and needs those at ITV to trust in the people they've put in place.

From what I can see I think it's a one off- nothing to say it can't become a more permanent move though.

Does anyone know, is the regional news in Good Morning Britain produced for the sub-regions or are there just a single pan-region version for each ITV region?
