Sean is making his first appearance on the sofa for a non-sport related story.

He joins Susanna on the sofa to talk about the sexist email scandal and to the woman who leaked the emails by Richard Scudamore

I think they used Sean because it is a sport-related story. As far as I understand, he is rather high up at the Premier League.

You're right - it is a sport related story thats the whole thing. Why did you say it was non-sport related?

It was nice to see Sean appearing more either way.
Also nice to see breaking news on the programme before I got an alert from sky news & BBC news.

I apologise, completely forgot about who Mr Scudamore was.

Cringing at the interview with Jay Leno. Why is Susanna being such a prude, panicking when Jay Leno says he collects cars because 'it's cheaper than cocaine and hookers'? It's really not that offensive and she drew far more attention to it with her flapping.

Also, the 8:25 interview really needs to be 10 minutes long. It's borderline rude to give some of these people four minutes and ends up feeling very rushed.

I agree the interview needs to start at 8:20. Scrapping Andy Peters 8:20 slot and dare I say it, a few minutes less news at 8:00.

I really like the idea of the guest sitting with the presenters through a majority of the show (say at least an hour) to react to the items, One Show style.

That's what Jay Leno is probably used to though on the likes of Today and GMA as most of their interviews are usually only 5 minutes...

D-listers would get about 3 or 4 minutes. More important guests would get about 8-10.

Well most of the items are news stories, leading into news reports, unlike the magazine style One Show which mainly features light hearted items, and some heavier human interest stories, but not news reports like a murderer on the loose in Southport. So they would be sitting there with not much to say or react to, as it would be cringey asking a comedian or some actor for their opinions on the crisis in Ukraine.

Silly suggestion. Are 4 main presenters not enough? There would be so much going on. That kind of idea could work for a 10 minute slot but that suggestion is really, really silly.

That idea could of worked to a certain extent on Daybreak, where there were only 2 presenters at a time. But who cares about some celebrity's opinion on the news? Would not work for breakfast television.

Also, what if the guest was (as it was recently) the Prime Minister? (or someone like that) I'm pretty sure lots of their guests have more important things to be reacting to news stories. Or what if Johnathan Ross was asked what he thought about the missing schoolgirls?

Rolling Eyes Rant is over.
