The arrangements may be different for STV and UTV, as trailers during ITV Breakfast (and overnight for that matter) are ITV branded on UTV.

You get ITV branded trailers on STV during GMB...

All of Lorraine’s graphics popped up on screen at the end of the program as she was introducing what is coming up tomorrow,
I’m not quite sure what graphic the pink line is used for though?

Laura Tobin was at Reading University during the day with the Earl of Wessex – would this be a one off visit from Laura or does she go to UoR often?

Laura Tobin is a University of Reading alumnus, so I would imagine it's not a one-off thing.

Ratings for Bank Holiday Monday very disappointing for GMB, just under 340,000 viewers with 11.7% audience share. As it is a Public Holiday it is expected for figures to collapse like GMTV and Daybreak. But, it hasn't help with some of the newspaper coverage branding it a 'ratings disaster'. On a positive note, the figure is up from last Bank Holiday where Daybreak got 295,000 excluding +1. Breakfast held up pretty well with 1 million viewers. It will be interesting how the ratings recover and hold up in the next few weeks.

Obviously too early to make any rash decisions, considering it was a Bank Holiday, but it does suggest that ITV still have an issue increasing their share.

I still think that if they want to beat Breakfast, they'll have to out 'news' it, but advertising is an issue for them than the BBC, which is why they continue to keep those inane GMTV features.

It's only been a week! I hope they don't get scared and start fiddling again - changing things constantly is bound to put people off.

Have these regional intros all been recorded in advance with Ben Shepherd or does he record them for the week on the Monday morning? The reason I ask is because yesterday we had a different presenter in the Granada region and Ben still appeared as he did last week when introducing Sarah Rogers; he paused and then handed over to Amy Welch.

I am wondering if he recorded a bulk load maybe a few weeks ago and they play them out depending who the presenter is?

I know initially someone said they were probably doing them on a Monday morning.

Also I think they should let each of the presenters introduce them rather than just Ben.

I believe they record them on the day, as whoever does the regional news intros is wearing the same clothes they're wearing on that day's programme.

He wears different clothes in each handover, so I presumed he recorded them daily. Either that or its damn good CGI.
