I suppose why they kept Richard Arnold was because when you have someone so distinctive, and you replace them like Daybreak did, you just end up with someone always sitting in their shadow looking bland.
Wouldn't be the same issue with Ross King as you wouldn't have a direct replacement you'd just get rid of the role from GMB entirely.

She is contracted to, so, hopefully.
She's tweeted pictures of herself with a few guys at the airport earlier today who were heading off on a stag do, she must be flying back to Scotland so tomorrow's show could be May be recorded?
The big question is will Lorraine Kelly actually present her own show tomorrow?

Does anyone ever question how accurate these ratings actually are ?

Best most relevant comparison of anything ever in the history of relevant comparisons.
And Series 11 is it now? Wow, that's... that's really something to process...
Lots of programs drop significant amounts of views after their first program.
Celebrity Juice Series 11 (current) got 2.4m viewers in Episode 1 and then 2.0m in Episode 2 and 1.5m in Episode 3.

Thought UTV and STV might have their news branding under the Good Morning logo in the way the ITV regions have ITV News.

Here in central stv, there was only the clock, not the other graphic saying 'Scotland' or the gmb logo until Wednesday I believe.
The bulletins are branded GOOD MORNING SCOTLAND, but the presenter calls it STV news, a little mish mash if you ask me!

Hwever.. according to the figures.. BBC Breakfast has gained viewers this week!
http://www.theguardian.com/media/2014/may/01/good-morning-britain-audience-itv-daybreak-bbc
As breakfast ratings are an average across the whole slot it doesn't really necessarily mean they've got more viewers, it could be that the same people have just watched for a few minutes longer.
Daybreak did have a loyal audience and having read a lot of Twitter reactions to the show it really wouldn't surprise me if Breakfast did gain those viewers who used to enjoy Daybreak but hate GMB.
I used to really like Susanna Reid..ON BREAKFAST, but it has to be said - I really think she's made a very stupid mistake by switching channels. You can't really compare what happened with TV-AM and it's bounce back from failure -that was over 30 years ago, viewer behaviour has changed hugely. She jumped ship thinking she was the bees knees and probably realising right now she isn't.
Really wouldn't read too much into the ratings drop over the week - IIRC for some reason the ratings tend to fall across the week anyway.

She'd been at Breakfast 11 years and the best the BBC could offer her was a slot as a contestant on Strictly. She's now had the opportunity to move on, launch a new show and as much as they go on about it being a team of 4 she is very clearly the lead presenter of it and is being used for her journalistic abilities rather than anything else.
