Ross King in LA talking about Prince Harry... We don't care about an American tv show about this country's prince!

Phew... He's gone now.

Sean is always going on about his kids. Getting quite annoying.

But at least these little chats and comments are allowing the audience to get know them and relate to them.

I've just noticed that GMB are in Newark for the competition and the Farage story, coincidence...?

Re. the clock being outside the safe area... they could swap the clock and the #GMB itv.com bug around so the clock moves into the safe screen, and the bug animates out towards the edge of the screen..?

Seems like some people still need safe areas.

Or an adjustment to a set top box... The graphics are well within the 16:9 safe area.

I've noticed that every day one of their "top stories" is "celebrity is single/not single". Monday we had George Clooney, Tuesday we had Zac Efron, Wednesday we had Prince Harry. Is this going to be a fixed feature? They could brand it "The Singles Report sponsored by Match.com".

I think, three days in, it's time to ditch Ben's awkward pre-recorded intros into the regional news. They're supposed to make it feel more personal, but the timing around them is so awkward it's defeating the purpose. It disjoints the flow of the programme and makes it feel less welcoming. I'd prefer the presenters just saying, live, off the back of whatever segment they've finished "now let's join our local news teams" followed by a sting.

Did anyone catch the performance area this morning just before 8?

Much more sitting down shots with presenters at the seats with guests today. Beats the Dr Hilary standing up shot yesterday
I'm certainly watching this show daily, for me it's the closest we'll ever get to the ITV News Channel being back. Must admit 6am is about an hour or two early for me but for now I'm recording it and watching it at about 8/9.

Don't like Lorraine's graphics or how they are not billed as separate shows.

If they stick to their guns and keep developing the chemistry, pacing etc, but do NOT change things that idiots want changed (i.e. 4:3 graphics) they could have a hit on their hands here. 700k last night but I do think the show is good enough to run Breakfast closer. There are far fewer ads, or seem to be, and this can only be a good thing.

The fluffy stories keep the show light hearted. I don't think it would be great if it were all about schoolteachers being murdered and circular circus politics news.

In terms of ratings I don't think comparing Breakfast's average with Good Morning Britain's is necessarily fair. Breakfast broadcasts 6-9:15am whereas GMB is only 6-8:30am. I'm under the impression that it's the latter part of the shows (i.e. from 8am onwards) that has the higher ratings, therefore an hourly breakdown of ratings might be better for comparison.

Oh dear that's down on Daybreak year on year.

Peak time for Breakfast tv is 7.30 to 8.15 and timeslots make no difference to audience share. The timeslot for Daybreak was the same and it is already below that year on year. BBC Breakfast was up on both days
