The thing with breakfast time is that you can't really have any proper competition once the BBC find the right mix (as they have), because they will forever dominate thanks to 1. stability and 2. no adverts. Typically once the BBC decide on the right formula, they tend to stick with it and not mess about with it, apart from back in the 80s (which then led to TV-am's dominance for the rest of the decade once Greg Dyke and then Bruce Gyngell had made their mark on it). It also helps that it's linked with BBC News, something ITV have rightly tried to do by linking GMB with ITV News, if less successfully.
Kate's twitter says it is just her and Sean. (We are stepping in to dangerous territory here - we will have a telling off shortly saying we should be posting this in the Presenter/Rota thread ).

Yes, I worried this after posting my last comment.
Especially being paired up with Garraway. Always felt Sean would be capable of holding the show and it's a shame he wasn't Ben's number one understudy just to emphasise that team of four. Even if he is slightly lacking on the journalistic front he's no weaker than Ben and the advantage of being there being a presenting quartet is he can still lead the show and others can take the lead on more serious news items.

This is what I presumed would happen when the programme began. I think it's been said before, but a bit like Blue Peter in the late 90's four presenters but only three presenting the majority of shows.
