The open shots this morning were much smoother than usual, back to how they were before.
I assume it was because Philip was there, imo the open with just Ben and Susanna looks out of place.
Also it looked better without the weather screen at the TOTH, overly pedantic i know Wink

I agree about it looking better showing everyone at the desk rather than just Ben & Suzanna.

I'm enjoying the more frequent use of the 'demo area' recently. Noticing on the Barry Manilow interview that they've brought what look to be the old Daybreak Kruze chairs in. I saw in the '24 hours at GMB' film that one of the old red interview chairs was in a dressing room. It's a shame they ditched the 1-on-1 interviews about a week in as I really did quite like them. It allowed you to take the interview more seriously, but then I guess that was the issue for some people.

Are the ratings for this thing showing any signs of improvement or is it a dead show walking?

Last time I checked (mid-Nov), it was still tanking.

THEY ARE JUST CHAIRS.

They're Kruze Chairs.

KRUZE.

KRUZE...

Which is why DanielK and co constantly call them such, they're not just any chair...

So I see this is turning in to a rota thread on which chairs the show uses now!

Louisa James has replaced Kate at 6:11 this morning due to Kate nearly losing her voice reading the headlines.

Good to see Louisa James presenting again. The first time since GMB launched.

I think once Charlotte goes on maternity leave there will be a greater chance to see Louisa a bit more in the 4th seat.

Good Morning Britain is closing its New York office, with the producer who's based there moving to LA.

I'm not sure that this will make a great deal of difference to the running order - I can't remember seeing much on the show that's likely to have come out of New York.
