I suppose they're going up early because of Text Santa?

They've always went up on the first, for as long as I can remember. I know many go by 12 days before... although a few weeks out of the year is nothing Wink

12 Days before Christmas, never heard of that? Big Breakfast used to put theirs up at the start of advent and came on the 5th January.

I go by the first day of Advent until the Epiphany (The first date being when Christians are permitted to prepare for Christmas, and the second being the end of celebrations). After all, if I were to celebrate any other religious festival non-religiously, I'd make sure my timing was correct. I certainly wouldn't want a late chanukkiyah or a mistimed diwali candle.

A chair from the old Daybreak set making an appearance, not seen it on GMB so far.

I assume they've been lying about in dressing rooms or storage. Presumably they don't want the usual chairs damaged so brought them in..

IIRC, anything easily movable usually leaves the studio and sits in the scenery area backstage, although I think the sofa stays in place.

How many trees? Christmas is definitely coming.

Sure is! Probably two at either end of the sofa, two at either side of the window behind the desk, one behind/beside the weather screen and a couple in the demo area.

Once again you've offered a completely pointless contribution to the conversation, because you don't know how many trees there are going to be, so you've just offered a guess, and no actual knowledge. If you don't know the answer there's no need to guess at what it will be.

Were they small trees at the end of the clip in front of the desk? Maybe smaller trees will be on a stand either in front of the desk 'window' or behind the sofa.

I hope they change the graphics on the "Windows" a sunny River Thames will look really out of place behind Christmas trees.
