New GMB promo just aired on ITV2, similar to the last one, same music.

Very nice opening titles for Armistice Day this morning...

Susanna, Sean and Kate at the desk, Kate in Ben's seat, Alex with the weather, John at the Tower of London. Special titles featuring drone shots of the display at the Tower, and the backing screen replaced with an image of poppies, which adds depth to the shot IMO. Very pleasant and very appropriate.

Only thing I would have changed is to have John open the show.

Aaaaand...no special titles at 7am, hopefully an error. Surely it is more important to have them airing closer and closer to 11am? Just my thoughts....

Special titles returned at 8. Not sure whether they were different to the 6 ones. They should do special titles a lot more I think in my opinion.

Susanna and Kate, not a good pairing. Chemistry seems forced. Imo

Today, Susanna and Kate's camera angles for the Armistice Day news were straight on, rather than cross shots like they usually are. This meant that their shots were backed by the big screen, rather than the smaller grid of screens. IMO it should always be like that as it gives a cleaner shot.

I think I know where the opening shots came from.

Nice to see them adapt, and very well done it was too. The poppy background was lovely, different and fitting for today.

Steve Scott reporting for GMB in Cape Town today, well his shot was taken to air...he wasn't cued though! Matthew Snelson of Australia's Channel 7 reporting from Sydney also.
