Even at that, the drone shot must've been good enough to get such a good result AFTER post.

You can make the wobbliest drone shot look smooth just by uploading it to YouTube and turning on their stabilisation option. Imagine what you can do if you actually tweak the stabilisation manually?

Well, I'd say a drone is a fixed wing aircraft, what was used is called by some a 'Hexacoptor', whatever
it's closer to a helicopter than a fixed wing aircraft (that I'd call a drone)'.

Not only that, but hexacopters with the appropriate built-in physical stabilisation produces rather smooth shots to start off with.
