"The set build has started in Edinburgh for a historic day @GMB Friday, 6am - 10am, ITV. #wakeuptosomethingdifferent"
"Set" or a scaffolding with a chair and table...
You seem somewhat surprised that you can build a set from scaffolding?

It'll be "with X and Y in Edinburgh and Z in London" or similar, but yes,.. STV are dropping GMB on Friday so silly to say "across Scotland." Just been pointed out in the News Room that in the event of a YES, This Morning will also be dropped, as I imagine much of the afternoon programmes will be, at least on STV.

Eh?
Almost all temporary studios are built on scaffolding bases. You build the temporary studio on scaffolding and then put your set in. Not sure what your point is?
Or if you are brave you build a tri-light truss with a roof and put your set underneath it.

And most people will be watching Breakfast or BBC One Scotland...
The synopsis for Friday's special has changed on Radio Times, no loger does it feature an appearance by Gaynor Faye, rather reporting from Lorraine Kelly.
Quote:
Good Morning Britain
Susanna Reid and Ben Shephard present live coverage from Edinburgh as the news breaks on the result of Scotland's Referendum. Lorraine Kelly reports on the reaction in her hometown Dundee and there will be analysis from James Mates in Brussels, Robert Moore in Washington and Tom Bradby in Downing Street.
"A special edition of Good Morning Britain from 6am, the results should come in around breakfast time"
I see there is no end time stated, I'm guessing this is probably because they don't actually know when it will end. I'm sure I read in a thread that This Morning would be dropped in the result of a yes vote, but would GMB continue or ITV News Takeover? Considering there is supposed to be a 'link' between them, I presume they would stick with Good Morning Britain?
