Did seem pre-recorded due to no crossover shot or interactions, but the news was current, hmm...

I guess. But when charlotte was looking after the babies in the performance area you could see Sean peeking through the fire edit doors near lauras weather screen

I assume GMB will use a mixture of Ranvir/Kate to cover Charlottes Maternity cover.. Few months yet I assume but will miss Charlotte on the show feel she adds something else to the presenting line up. Can't see them hiring from outside the GMB circle anyways.

It seemed to have a good flow this morning. The sad news about robin Williams is something that they handled very well, and had the right balance with the other stories.

Having Sean come in for the sport kept the flow going. It was a nice use of the studio. I'm surprised that they didn't have any link to him, but there also didn't seem to be any conversation links to Laura more "here's Laura with the weather". I suppose they're trying different things.

Ross King has came to the UK to cover the Robin Williams death for GMB.

Why did they fly Ross King over when they have Richard Arnold?

Sean returned this morning at 7:36? Odd...

He was on air at 6:13 for the papers then left which was odd....

I like the three presenter set up tho. It feels that four is just a bit much of an overload, my mum even thinks its ridiculous. I wouldn't totally get rid of him but getting Sean on just for the sport would be a good road to go down.

EDIT: Sean did the sport from the screen at the one on one interview area which was nice.

Well isn't Andi Peters filling in for Richard? Ross King is from the US so its probably more appropriate as its a big story.

I doubt they flew Ross over because of the death. To me it looked like he was probably in the UK for a visit and they got him in as he's the regular LA face.

Does she really? Even your mum? ITV need to get their act together if they're not paying attention to your mum!!!

Typhical that the one time a "Hollywood Correspondent" might be justified and called upon he's in the UK. If they've got any sense it's to pick up his P45.

Ross is off the show for two weeks while he launches "Taking Hollywood", written by Shari Low and himself, over here.
