Tuned in at 6:50 and thought something was wrong with John’s eye, just said it was a mosquito bite on the eye lid, ouch!!

He does keep mentioning it quite a lot actually, not sure why he has to keep pointing it out.

Probably because of the amount of comments on Facebook saying "what's up with John's eye?" etc etc

Laura's checkatrade sponsor failed to play at 6:43. Just a smiling shot of Laura for around 10 seconds.

Preferred that to a checkatrade advert any day

Rolling Eyes Some of your posts just keep getting creepier and creepier...

The 6am opening didn't go to plan on HD. a grey-ish screen for about 10 seconds at the beginning cutting into the opening sequence, which was already in progress in SD, before returning to HD a few minutes later. I have a video which I'll try and upload later.

"Now its time for the latest news, weather, and travel where you are" was used in todays programme. Couldn't John of done the introduction?

He has done it before but I have noticed they haven't been doing the 'personalised' regional news introductions all this week at least.

They have been on STV News, just not today.

Oh - I don't think we've seen them (for Tyne Tees, at least) since Ben was last there, a week ago today.

There has been no 'personal' intros this week, as others have said, they must have dropped it.

How does that work, if there has been none in Scotland.. One of the presenters simply said ' now for the news, travel and weather where you are'..

Perhaps that was your regional intro ? Maybe they didn't know who was doing the Scottish bulletins.
