Not sure about the news items being presented outside...

Was Louisa used at all then?

Looked as if they were sitting behind a piano.

Nope. Other than being filmed for that six second Instagram video. Not worth getting up early for, really.

Would be nice to see her presenting!

I for one find the GMB format refreshing, and it still has a while to bed in- look what eventually happened to TV-am !

Not sure I'd quote TV-am...

They started with a slightly patronising 'mission to explain' reasonably heavy-news format, which tanked. They then revamped, had major industrial action, showed repeats of "Flipper", spent lots of time reading out the TV Bingo numbers (yes - that was a thing back then), and were finally rescued by bringing in Roland Rat...

They started with well known presenters, some of whom (Angela Rippon for example) had moved from the BBC, but their major success was with relative unknowns (Anne Diamond and Nick Owen)

Someone called Robin Dwyer on GMB London Bulletins this morning- think so she may have done a report on the weekend national news.

Liking the outdoor presentation today, I do like Charlotte been outside too. Keeps the show format, while having the show outdoors. Not sure how cost effective having Louisa (or any other presenter/reporter) in the studio is mind, unless the person is utilised in another way- like files a report etc. Or if Louisa would of already been in this morning, therefore making it no different.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but they would have a duty reporter in the office during the show incase of breaking news, a news story which doesn't require on location reporting etc. So Louisa would most probrably have been there anyway.

Just watched this mornings show, another great show. It was nice to have them all outside rather than one sitting in the studio. I think the desk that was used could of possibly been from the green room? If not it was probably just recently made.

The ticker was also bugged at the opening of the 7:50 Entertainment news, displaying CONTACT US and ENTERTAINMENT beside each other.

Louisa did the Tortoise report, but produced the day before though!

The Ticker was missing after the 06:36 competition & Before the weather 06:38
