So back outside, and they sorted out that coffee

More than one camera outside today, surprised they chose the Steadicam over the Jib for outside though.

Jib was outside for 6:30.

A new 'The Latest' wipe and segment which was used to update on the Rolf Harris story.

Sean was meant to appear live in wimbledon at 6:35 - he could give a 'coming up' just before the regions at 6:27 but they had technical problems.

Sean has now quickly relocated the outside along with Susanna and Ben for the 7:35 sport update

Nice little GMB stage they have there...

Again, a very newsy show today. No 'fat kids are fat' or '1 in 3 Brits are obese' or anything like that. It actually feels like an ITN morning programme. Really beautiful camera work too today, I wonder if a rooftop set is possible, would give the skyline view if they desire it.

Loved the show today - it's really grey in Wales so could have sat for much longer watching them hosting in the sun this morning.

Dare I say it, the format felt more comfortable with just two main hosts and the various other presenters, sports, entertainment etc. just joining them for their segments.

Just something I've noticed, does UTV and STV not have rights to show GMB in HD? Or is it something to do with ITV Breakfast franchise?

Watching it this morning it seemed to run fairly smoothly, and being outside had a nice feel to it. The show seems to have improved since I last watched it during the opening week. I guess yesterday's 'large parts outdoors' provided a trial run with a fall-back excuse to go back into the studio in case of any problems.

Watching them outside this morning and it reminded me of when The Big Breakfast declared it was summer by moving the show outside to the front garden.

I have been liking the outside presentation, only thing is does take away from the unquie four person team. Although usually Sean is a spare part anyways but the third person (Charlotte, Kate, Ranvir) has always been integrated more and I liked that. Today Ranvir only appeared in news slot at each half hour.
Personally moving forward I'd like to see three main presenters (with Sean with sport, Richard with entertainment, weather with Laura moving to the desk and members of the reporting team moving to the fourth seat at the desk during their slots)
