I've enjoyed what i've seen so far (bar one item) clearly a lot of thought has gone in to it.

I wonder what Lorraine's bit will be like at 8.30?

When is saw that big money wheel, i was expecting them to play 'Star Turn'

They're really running behind now - local news nearly 5 minutes late!

The set is absolutely fantastic. Can't fault it at all. Lovely opening titles showing the ITV tower.

The bad stuff:

- The graphics animate a bit too much. It's a minor thing, but there's constantly a hashtag popping out somewhere or other. It's just a bit much.

- Andi Peters starting the show at 6am with a banal 'people in Leeds say hello to their children on TV' feature.

- Andi Peters introducing the first phone-in competition at 6.30.

- Andi Peters.

I must say, Charlotte is really showing Susanna up this morning. I find Charlotte so refreshing, polished, professional and likeable. I can hardly say Susanna is, and I think she'll be found out as being distinctly average and quite a poor interviewer, from the interview with Esther McVey (although she's definitely the worst MP to interview, rambling incessantly!)

ITV should have taken a leap of faith and given Charlotte the co-presenter role; Susanna is, to me, still quite obnoxious and fake. I don't think the audience will be able to connect with her. The newspapers have made a big thing of her salary, and to me, if anything doesn't work with this programme, it could well be her. Charlotte really holds her own.

Just one thought. I think this programme should be a wake-up call to BBC Breakfast. As a regular viewer, there's a lot to like about GMB presentation and studio-wise.

The ticker, I really like, and the integration with the larger ITV network and ITV News should have been done as soon as ITV acquired the Breakfast license. It really strengthens the brand, although I have to say the news items are a bit lightweight, but well-skewed to the target audience.

A shame that Sean hasn't really had a look-in beyond the sport.

The less said about the Andi Peters the better. And, I agree with the others, the regional handover is good in theory, but just not practical for the effort.

Andi Peters competition stuff is absolute faff on! Not needed, not interested, one of the only disappointments really. I'd of preferred One Direction to be featured post-7:30 only things really otherwise a great start!

That Andi Peters segment cheapens the whole thing. It needs somebody like Cheggers. Very Happy

Central have fixed their graphics this time, by taking the ITV News bit off the aston.

Is UTV using the GMB weather graphics? STV are using their own weather graphics...

Central are using their own, I assume they all are.

Andi Peters saying they are "giving away £50,000 this morning " in that last competition plug sounded a little close to the regulatory wind to me, given that the competition is open until 9th May.
