This is definitely far better than everything we've seen by ITV Breakfast for a long time. It's a lot more newsy and much less advertisement which is good as that is the main reason I couldn't watch Daybreak. The line-up of presenters is good especially Susanna and Charlotte.
They should really change the way that Ben passes over to regions. It just doesn't work for me and feels clumsy. They also need to put the weather locations in alphabetical order. You just don't know when your town/city is going to appear.
If I was working on Breakfast, I would be getting slightly worried.

I quite like the way they fade into the ad break. So far I am very impressed with GMB. Well done ITV.

What are the graphics like on the ITV regional opts? STV still can't get it right with their clock...

What's wrong with the clock? Looks fine to me.

It's a lot smaller than the actual clock on GMB. Don't ITV give the regions the graphics package?

I dont think the regional handover's work, and would rather it be scrapped TBH.
Yep - they don't really add any value. More localness would be conveyed with a regional sting, and it would be easier to manage.
I think it would be a better idea to just do a local sting graphic where it went from 'Good Morning Britain' to 'Good Morning Tyne Tees' before the local presenter picks it up and goes through the headlines.
