True....though on the flip side, sponsorship can stick too. Everyone still calls the Phones4u Manchester Arena the MEN.


And I remember people saying no one would ever call a certain venue The o2. It was always going to be called 'The Dome'.

Yes, it's pre recorded on Thursday, i believe.

Sean has left Brazil (presumably earlier than initially planned due to England's less than fabulous performance) and will be presenting from the studio from Monday.

I preferred the 3 presenter style myself. Surely it would be better if he just appeared to do the sports section?

I think he is to good just to appear then. I preferred the 3 presenter style and think it would work well with him in rotation.

I've had the 6am HD opening on my channel for a while, with no complaints. If you're not able to do it harshy, I'll see what I can do over the weekend...

I can't warm to Sean, maybe because he's not included as much in the show as the others, and only segment he presents is sport. And kind of just sits there in the corner Wink

To be fair, I thought Sean Fletcher was a bit of a left-field choice. If he was just sport then fine, but as one of the 'main four' on the desk for the duration is a surprise. As all he did at Sky Sports News was usually the graveyard shift. He didn't really do much else. Solid but unspectacular.
