Good Morning Britain - the launch

I think most will tolerate a level of presenter discussion where it's maybe someone presenting it for the first time or something involving them during the programme. Asking tedious questions like when they're going to take a day off, or speculating on it belongs in a dedicated rota thread, at best.

Or rather, at worst.

I wonder whether it has bits or not...

What does the 'tweet me' bit mean? Do you have to actually tweet to receive a bottle of the juice?!

There is a screen on the machine, you use that. I guess you put your twitter name in or something.

You get given a unique code by the machine which you tweet to @GMB and it comes out of the machine.

Slight change to the lower thirds. The changing #GMB and itv.com/gmb has gone and the ticker has been stretched to the whole screen with the logo and clock now on top.

The top story wipe after introductions etc has also changed.

The ticker looks better going all the way across, however the clock and logo looks odd as it stands taller than the captions.

I guess now people are used to it they don't give a damn about #GMB. I think that looks much better - now they just have to get rid of the 'DEVELOPING STORY' and possibly the weather.


I agree. I don't know why they don't put the logo to the left and have the clock beside it, sticking out from the side.

They could have extended the Story/Name Strap and move the DOG/clock slightly back to compensate.
