No Good Morning Britain due to fire

Today's show is pre-recorded with Ben and Susanna?

This mornings show has started with the prerecorded filler (the same one used when the fire alarm went off). Must be some sort of issue in the studio.

UPDATE: The fire alarm went off in the studio 2 minutes before the show was due to go on air.

The standby "emergency" tape continues, lots of interviews stitched together with studio links.

The filler tape has stopped and been replaced by 'Dinner Date'.

Dinner date is now on air

Lucky for them that it happened on a bank holiday I suppose. Don't reckon they'll make it back in and on air by 8:30, unless it's just a quick 'Hello, this is what happened, sorry'

Could this affect This morning and Loose women?

I'm sure they'll put the fire out by Tuesday

If Lorraine is prerecorded (which I'm pretty sure it is), then why not show that now, then go back to GMB for the news when it finishes?

Or failing that, just drop Lorraine completely.
