We really have come full circle! It would be a nice touch to remix the orignal theme tune, but the endless relaunches-only-to-backtrack prove the 80s TVam format can't be beaten!
I'm really surprised that Eamonn turned down the chance to come across to ITV with Charlotte though - unless ITV always wanted Susanna as the main host with him.
"Lorraine will now be at the helm of her own show, Lorraine, between 8.30am and 9.25am..."
Hasn't she been doing already?
She has, but she has now signed a new contract that means that she will now front the show five days a week, rather than a stand in on Fridays.
I was a bit let down when I found this thread, I wish they had released some more information, maybe a graphic and some news about when they plan on the relaunch. I think that Susanna and Ben should be a good team, however I had hoped that they would get Dermot O'leary to present because that would make me an avid viewer!
Also- do you think the other guys will present a 'news hour' style thing like Matt and Ranvir because that feels like they're trying to reinvent the wheel a little. I really like Matt and to date haven't seen issue with Ranvir, but Lorraine and Aled really needed sorting!!
I assume from the information ITV have given that Ben and Susanna will present all the way from 6am to 8:30am, with Sean providing periodic sports news, and Charlotte being the new post-7am Ranvir, giving the news each half-hour. That may be completely wrong - that's how I've taken it.

i hope susanna reid hasn't done a "bleakley" - ie committed long drawn out career suicide.
of course, i very much doubt itv have the means or any desire to match bbc breakfast for journalistic might and so i expect "good morning britain" to be a tv version of the "femail" section from a popular newspaper, focussing on such important matters as catherine middleton's post-baby gunt, the latest "neknominate" death, state benefits and of course immigration.
can't wait to see the generic cgi titles, which will without doubt feature an orange hue and rendered serif font.
