No, never going to happen in a million years.

Still interesting to think about though.

I like the floating stripes on the two sets of monitors either side of the desk, but is a bit distracting on the main screen.

Erron Gordon has said on Twitter it’s to accommodate larger debates post-COVID, so looks like they’re really doubling down on the aggressive, culture war baiting debate format.

Ah, at least that puts the idea of long-term distancing in TV to bed!

You must be new to TV Forum.

Explain?

I do like them, especially on the catwalk screens - so much more modern than before, the skyline on them looks brilliant.

The ones on the main screen do need tweaking though.

I love how Piers and Susanna's hands disappear in the new split. I can imagine the Director constantly telling them to keep their hands still.

I bet for the director of GMB that’s the least of their worries.

Getting Piers to shut up as they are 6 minutes over and they need to take a break, is probably more important!

They've moved the blocks on the main screen so they're no longer behind Piers and Susanna.

Looks a lot better and less busy without the blocks. I found them rather distracting in the small snippets I saw yesterday. They're fine on the smaller screens, but they rather spoilt the London skyline view effect of the big screen when used behind Piers and Susanna yesterday in my view. We all know it's a video on a screen rather than a genuine window overlooking the city, but it's easier to keep up this illusion when you haven't got yellow, red and blue bars flying in and out of the landmarks. Good to see they've taken on feedback and made positive changes.

It’s comforting, Rob, to know that the producers actually DO listen to us here on TV Forum and take our advice from time to time.

Now, about Piers Morgan himself,.........😉

How long have we had our GMB forum back? I used to read this every morning until some moderator kicked our forum out because the discussion didn’t adhere to their guidelines. I’ve missed this place.
