When Holly got her pay rise to match Phil it was covering the Dancing on Ice wage also.
All we know is she got a £200k rise to match Phil's wage.
Presumably she'll be on more than Phil now for doing I'm a Celeb this year. I wonder if it'll match Dec's wage?
Actually I don't really care as long as they give Holly plenty of snakes to scream at

Is Life Stories still going? Usually when he is off ITV have sent him to meet a serial killer.
I love this. Hahaha

ITV salaries are not revealed, and a lot of it is speculation, but I think it was perfectly fair for Phillip to be on a higher wage than Holly as he had been in the job for a lot longer. However, I understand why they've balanced the pay now.
Richard & Judy have been open about the fact that Richard was initially paid more than Judy because he was freelance and she was on the Granada payroll. Once they show had become a success she resigned from Granada and signed a contract which had them paid equally.

Philip and Holly on This Morning were apparently being paid £600,000 and £400,000 a year for This Morning. I do not know what their salary for other shows such as Dancing on Ice is. Under their 2018 ITV deal, ITV have agreed their This Morning deal will be around £650,000 a year each.

Both Phil and holly do other stuff, I mean alot of other stuff, same goes for peirs and Susanna, it to coin a phrase used on here, Apples and oranges.
We also have to remember Holly was in paid leave for a while, ( babies) so ITV would be of course wanting a lower rate...

Piers is now off for 2 weeks, and Susanna is back after half term. Richard Madeley may be back at some point, the tabloids were reporting a while ago that he was going to be Piers’ regular stand in. Kate is also supposedly going into the jungle, so if she is she’ll be away for a month or so from early November. Doesn’t Ben also film something in the autumn?
These abscenes mean there will probably be some shows without a newsreader over the next few months. They seem incredibly hesitant to allow the likes of Louisa James and Phillipa Thompson to fill in when required. If Sean is unable to fill in, they don’t seem especially fussed about having a newsreader.
I’ve said it before but the programme does need the newsreader, the top of the show needs it and I feel like it without the programme feels a little lacking. Also the wide shots look a bit empty when the newsreader chair isn’t there. I’ve warmed to Sean recently and I think he suits the newsreader role nicely, fits more now than he ever did before, so hope we see him next week, tomorrow or Thursday.

I wonder if Phil's salary includes other shows like 5 Gold Rings and How to Spend it Well. I assume both have golden handcuff deals since Holly hasn't presented a non ITV show since she did The Voice.

Alex Beresford seems to be doing my local weather now.
There's a wipe between the sponsor sting and the weather now.

Although there is precedent for making payments to a freelancer who is absent for medical reasons (but not entitled to sick pay because they are a contractor) which are then repaid once they return to work.
The BBC did this with Martin Kelner during his cancer treatment (he has remarked publically on the remarkable coincidence of the timing of him finishing paying that back and being sacked.)
