Richard mentioned at the end of the show he'll be back "in a few weeks from now"... Probably referring to the summer break.

I was having a quick flick around some of the ITV regions on Sky this morning. I noticed that STV HD only shows GMB in upscaled SD. I'm intrigued to know what the situation is with STV HD showing GMB/Lorraine.

Originally when STV HD launched they just had a 'This programme is unavailable' slide from 6.00–9.25, presumably because the ITV breakfast franchise doesn't include STV HD. So was this a case of STV refusing to show it because they didn't have to and weren't getting a share of the ad revenue, or ITV refusing to let them show it as it wasn't STV's to show?

Obviously there's now an agreement that they can show it, but I'm wondering why not in HD. Anybody know?

I would love to know aswell. Here the funny thing, i was recording 2017 election and around 09.21 the feed swithed.... You could clearly see hd being put into operate.

Tech the stv hd morning slot still belongs to itv breakfast.

I wonder if it was Jeremy Kyle or another male presenter that wrote ‘love’like that to someone would be okay?

Wasn’t the GMB STV HD problem only on Satellite where the spot didn’t belong to ITV Breakfast?

This isn't a unique mistake, there is/was a Twitter account that collected tweets from those who did exactly the same thing

That is interesting as don't they currently say for example:
"Wednesday 6th of June twenty eighteen"?, no 'the' usually. I'm clearly looking at this too closely aren't I?

Also, is it just me who is surprised that he reads them all, I'd presume that he'd record every day, date, month and year for them to compile into any configuration.

And there's a hell of a lot of them (and I wonder how many other tweets have since been deleted). And remember these people are allowed to vote...

I keep wondering if they should block the clock out on +1, but then we shouldn't have to accomodate idiots.

The viewer herself was hardly a beacon of politeness.

Re: the voiceovers - I was sure they used to be edited together rather than each date spoken in full.
