Surprised they've gone with the B team for the Friday of Royal Wedding weekend.

Weird that there is no special tomorrow either. The advertising money is definitely there to cover the extra cost.

I am surprised they have not done a special GMB for Saturday, even if they never bother before with weekends. Especially when all the foreign, mainly US network breakfast shows including cable channels are doing special coverage. Bit poor from ITV.

The US morning shows coincide with the wedding, GMB would be banal filler.

On Breakfast it was even worse, a hybrid of the B and C teams.


Coverage starts on ITV at 9:25, I can’t see many wanting coverage from 6:00

While it is a shame we won't have GMB tomorrow, as it's a Saturday I'm not really surprised given they only do Monday-Friday and I think it's harch calling it "a bit poor", ITV will still have extensive coverage throughout the day.

Quite a nice parody of the rather more 'homely' BBC Breakfast promos. GMB has found its USP, the trick will be in keeping viewers if/when they lose Piers.
