Lots to wonder about presentation of first half hour - maybe Charlotte (or stand in) will sit on the smaller desk near the news background screens in the corner like when she does mini interviews there ?

Might mean the regional news gets a proper slot in hour one rather than being at 6:20am one day and 6:50am the next.

The half hour of news is a nice opportunity for Charlotte (and Sean when he’s covering) to get some screen time on the Piers days. The main desk might look a little strange with only one person behind it, so as others have said maybe they'll use the smaller desk in the studio somewhere?

Maybe they will do it from various standing positions around the studio; the news update corner, the arranged screens and in front of the big screen are just a few locations to offer something different presentation wise to other broadcasters at that time of the day.

Looks like there is a little 1 person desk with the GMB logo on it in the studio. Noticed it when Ben was walking around giving Vegan Steak Bakes to the crew.

The National Weather has a new sponsor, it’s BOXT Boilers. Also the field reporters have new umbrellas.

Not a new thing. Penny Smith operated from a “mini desk” for years on GMTV. As did Moira at BBC Breakfast.

I'm not from the UK so I only see Clips online, but has Piers ever co-hosted with Charlotte or Kate?

I think he has at least once with Kate but not frequently at all.
