There is no presenter/contributor on GMB called Dan Wootton. I think you'll find he's on Lorraine.
Can't imagine ITV are too happy with this story though..

Ok, not GMB. Lorraine. Two entirely disassociated programmes with no connection/relationship whatsoever.

It's been published in the Sun, so that means it probably is complete BS.

It's popped up (additionally) on my Google/Android clickbait feed that I can't seem to switch off from the Daily Mail now (Just Saying)

He has insider info, so that means it probably isn't complete BS. Did you miss the part where it was pointed out that he works for ITV Breakfast too?

Actually, Wootton recently left ITV breakfast very suddenly. Check his Twitter but he's no longer a contributor on 'Lorraine'. All rather sudden considering he'd just celebrated 10 years and they were both looking to the future. No goodbye show or anything. Or any mention of his departure.

Since then, he's started a new hate campaign against Phillip Schofield and now GMB with a story that is so quite clearly made up.

Maybe the bosses finally realised what a liar he is...

I knew this already.

Only "probably"?! Very Happy

I've long been of the opinion that "Sun reader" is an oxymoron...

I’m a few days late, but the ‘race row’ article is so ridiculous I don’t quite know where to start. Charlotte is already there 4 days a week, whereas Sean and Ranvir aren’t usually in the building. If Ranvir got the slot, she wouldn’t be able to be on location as political editor, and Sean has other commitments so probably wouldn’t be able to do 4 days a week

Half an hour of news before the main show probably suits Piers quite well, it means he can arrive even later than he already does.
