Have they ever had a female main anchor other than Susanna, Kate, Charlotte and Ranvir?

Never really felt Kate was needed on a full time basis, especially since going down to three. Just bring Sean in to read the news on Thu/Fri and then have Charlotte as the main female anchor on Fridays, as she used to be.

Reckon that the day Piers leaves, they’ll try and get Kay Burley. She’s the only person I can think of who could out-Piers Piers.

I think the female anchors thing could work. Would certainly be a lot better than Piers' ugly mug every morning...

How much of what he says in regards to ratings when he is away is true?

Do they actually take a dive or do they remain relatively the same?

Do we know who’s covering for Piers this week? I think Adil Ray has mentioned he’s back at the end of the month.

If Kate is going into the jungle, she’ll be away for 5 weeks or so from next month. Guessing a combination of Charlotte and Ranvir will be covering.

For Piers, I guess a mixture of Shepherd, Ray, Madeley and Bacon. Although I’m hoping for a touch of Holmes.

Eamonn and Charlotte* (as much as Ben and Kate) have great chemistry.

Although they are the leaders of the pack, I don’t feel the same chemistry between Piers and Susanna. Their formula seems to be based on another science. Not sure which.

a touch of Holmes.

Is that a mash-up detective drama starring David Jason and Benedict Cumberbatch?

The 2017 bed was used for the 8am headlines with Charlotte this morning.

To be honest, it's my favourite of all of the themes they've had.

A pretty poor cut of it I thought. Which is a shame as it's a really nice tune. Also was that a new graphic on the landscape monitor?

I know I’ve said it before, but when Morgan isn’t there gobbing off, Susanna shows what a fantastic political interviewer she actually is.

Emily Maitlis coming up on GMB today. That should be good.

And Carol Vorderman.

Piers Morgan is back as well (since yesterday). Noted the comments in the posts above about Susanna being able to properly perform as a hard-hitter when Piers is not there.

Ain’t that the truth!

Well they both nailed Sir Keir Starmer just now. Interesting how he was not answer when Susannah asked him how he would vote on Brexit. There is an official announcement later from Labour on Brexit so May be he will save opinions until then.

Both Piers and Susannah in their own right have strong journalistic and presenting knowledge and experience. They do both ask strong questions as mentioned above.

Agreed. They did indeed take him to task.

Although, Susanna seems to have forgotten that golden rule which got her long-back predecessor (Anne Diamond) into trouble back in the TV-am days: never point at your guest when asking him/her a question!
