It's the news. News is boring.
It isn’t the ‘news’ that is boring on BBC Breakfast, it’s everything else that makes up the hour on a typical day.
The long winded sport with the chummy intro and outro that seems to go on forever, the weather and the location filming that they’ve done a million times before, the business, both the stories told exactly the same way each time and the locations that they’ve done before, the wish washy feature stories, the ‘banter’ between Dan and Louise that Dan always goes too long with, along with the stilted chats between Naga and Charlie that Charlie rarely wants to get involved in.
It’s quite obviously coasting because they know they are way ahead in the ratings, it’s the Breakfast equivalent of Children in Need night.

I feel there are some at Good Morning Britain (mostly Piers) who still gets sick to their stomach that
the bland bore fest
that is BBC Breakfast gets nearly double the ratings each day than they do, and they are throwing everything they have got at their disposal to get attention and try and boost ratings.
I'm one of those who quite enjoyed piers way of presenting, at least its different to
the BBC borefest
.
