Why does Good Morning Britain have the DOG in the top-right on UTV?

What is your point exactly?

To put the question differently, why do you think MTV and friends have whopping great DOGS on their output? For fun? For annoyance? Now think why UTV has one.

You're not suggesting you've only just noticed the UTV DOG?

I think that poster likely meant "Why is the DOG on the top right of the screen on UTV, shouldn't it be on the top left like normal". They move the DOG for sports usually as the scorebar is in the top left. Perhaps it was a mistake?

The itv dog also moves to the right in GMB. I guess it's to allow for the live straps.

No, on the top left.

It's only on the right when they use a location backdrop with the GMB logo and city name.
