She very wisely kept her mouth shut when TV-am lost their licence, when some of her co presenters ‘kicked off’ a bit over it. Perhaps that was a good idea, because GMTV took her on (and no one else I think from TV-am?)
Mike Morris did have a Sunday morning slot on GMTV.
I don't think he got it straight away though, I think it started a few months in after they had to quickly revamp to be more like TV-am because nobody was watching. Unlike Lorraine who transferred over from the start.
Will Lorraine ever leave ITV breakfast programming? She has to be one of the most secure presenters on the ITV network. She has been there at the same format programme since she joined the regular presenting team of TV-am in February 1990.

From July 1993 - I thought Mike Morris was gutted that TV-am lost its franchise to GMTV. I guess not then! 😀@transdiffusion @tvlive pic.twitter.com/JHZGhQBcL0

Surprised that other than Ranvir Singh, we’re still yet to see any of the GMB team turn up presenting any of the ITV News bulletins. Charlotte in particular would no doubt be a good fit.
BR
Is it surprising though - it didn't happen with the GMTV or Daybreak presenters, so Ranvir very much the exception rather than the rule, and kind of became an ITV News stand-in as a result of Daybreak ending rather than as a result of GMB.
Agree though Charlotte would fit in easily, and wouldn't be surprised if ultimately Susanna became a main host of the Evening News. And at the risk of going into fantasy rota territory, if anyone was to go the other way I'd imagine Nina would be quite good on GMB.

Charlotte now has commitments with ITV Racing which is where she dedicates much if her weekend and end of the week for ITV. With a show on Classic FM Sunday afternoons. Either she missed the opportunity, maybe even turned it down, but doesn't look like it will happen, agreed she would be a great replacement for Mary Nightengale in years to come.

Maybe it’s the ITV News branding on GMB that makes it seem more likely.

Has Charlotte actually done anything for ITV outside of GMB? Even Sean got a quiz show out of it.
Anyway, seems Susanna may have finally snapped and is paying the price for it:

YO
Although I can’t specifically recall the dates in question I believe he did cover a weekend shift once or twice
Didn't Matt Barbet do at least one ITV News bulletin when he was a Daybreak presenter?

This ....
This would be so much simpler if we just let Lorraine Kelly choose the Prime Minister
