Omnipresent
I remember Fiona Phillips was asked about Esther whilst she was covering her maternity leave and all she could bring herself to say was something a long the lines of “Esther looks very professional”.

Esther also used to co-present with Jayne Irving on UK Living and there were quite visible tensions between the two. Esther also had to apologise on air for pointing a toy gun at a child’s head...

Has Steve Allen ever spoke about working with her on his radio show, I wonder?

It's probably the most real we've seen Lorraine Kelly in ages. I was expecting a fake reply but the face said it all.

Horrid thought but in 20 years they'll be crossing to Lorraine to ask if she remembers working with potential PM Piers Morgan.

A rare occasion where one of those tabloid stories about an AWKWARD exchange on daytime TV actually has some truth for once.

Of course it’s just caused everyone to bang on about Lorraine ‘not paying tax’ again.

Yea the tax thing is getting tiring now. She was not found to be acting the part of Lorraine Kelly. The judge said that when ITV hire Lorraine they are paying for her friendly, chatty TV persona.

Will Lorraine ever leave ITV breakfast programming? She has to be one of the most secure presenters on the ITV network. She has been there at the same format programme since she joined the regular presenting team of TV-am in February 1990.

She very wisely kept her mouth shut when TV-am lost their licence, when some of her co presenters ‘kicked off’ a bit over it. Perhaps that was a good idea, because GMTV took her on (and no one else I think from TV-am?)

I think she was wise to make no actual comment about McVey this morning, she was in a no win situation if she had said McVey was marvellous or the opposite, though the body language said it all !

Did they ask Andi Peters if he remembers working with her?

I think she was also winking as she said she didn’t remember her.

Not quite, at TVam she presented the main news based programme, Good Morning Britain, which is the equivalent of today's programme of the same name. Apart from a brief period when she was became co-presenter of Daybreak shes been on the more fluffy lifestyle based later programme (ehs TVam called After Nine) where she is today

Mike Morris did have a Sunday morning slot on GMTV.
