Think they’ve finally found someone who could replace Piers.

I don't think he could do it full time - I thought he'd moved to America?

I know 2 males presenting together doesn’t seem to be a thing, but I’d love to see Richard present alongside Piers.

He’s moved back hasn’t he?

IIRC was tipped to be presenting Good Morning Britain before it started.

I think he mentioned this morning that he still lives in LA, and that ITV had flown him over to guest present. I think he’d be a good replacement for Piers or Ben, but obviously it would depend on whether he actually wants to move back to the UK.

I did notice that Richard made quite a few unsubstantiated comments which were presented as fact, a line that even Piers rarely crosses.

They did refer to him possibly being back next week, then “who knows” after that. This is definitely more than a bit of relief - given Kate was newsreader today they could have easily not bothered at all.

It’s not like someone flying backwards and forwards from LA to present is without precedent.

I really wish that GMB used Gilroy for its lower thirds and graphics. I feel that ITV Reem cheapens the brand now.

I’m not sure that Judy would be too happy though. It took them years to build that brand. Richard and Piers doesn’t quite have the same ring to it.
