That could be interesting to see how his style fits in with GMB. He handled serious topics and debates during his 5live tenure so is perfectly capable; although if he came on to the screen in an over sized plaid shirt carrying a clipboard adorned with rashers of bacon I would not be disappointed.

I hope he salvaged that clipboard after the final BB!

He is very Partridge-esque so after a long stint of Madley he should fit in well

Richard Bacon should be fine, It's interesting that Piers and Ben have three weeks off but Susanna only has two weeks for Easter.

Indeed, it's a bit like discussing rotas with a work mate, it's banal.

Watching a bit of Richard Bacon on GMB now. Seems to suit the programme well and works well as a bit of an 'anti-Piers'. Would like to see him back again.

Richard Bacon did a wonderful job throughout the programme in my opinion in both serious and light hearted sections. Kate & Susannah seemed a lot more free around conversation too. I especially liked the reference and chat to Matt F following his wonderful camera work.
